My place and yours: bedside.

I don't have a bedside table, but since I have a big bed and sleep alone, I usually have a pile of things on the unoccupied side. My latest reading material (my grandfather gave me The Doorbells of Florence for my birthday, and it's the cutest book ever), some magazines, a bottle of water, and a stripey friend. Oh, and a fox scarf hanging over my bedstead.

This week's theme is "On the shelf," and so I've photographed a garden bench that we brought into the house to use as extra shelving and seating. Isn't my pig bank cute? I found him at a trash and treasure market in Katoomba a few months ago.
