Colourful cookies.

(by Yvan Rodic)

I want to make cookies like these ones! Does anyone know how?

I think you make up the two lots of cookie dough and roll it out flat. For the swirls, stack one on the other, roll up, chill and then slice the dough to form the cookies.
It's probably something similar for the checkerboards - stack 'n' whack with chilling in between. I'll have to think about that one.

Yeah, I'm with Lyn! For the checkerboard one I reckon you want to layer up an equal number of flat slabs in each colour stacked so that the edge is stripey. Slice it longways into ribbons and turn half of them upside down. Glue them together with a bit of milk or egg or something. Then slice cross-sections for checky goodness. Does any of this make any sense? :-P
