What is your current obsession?
Neko Case's new album Middle Cyclone, particularly This Tornado Loves You. Sigh. Australia loves you, Neko - come visit us soon!
What are you wearing right now?
A black dress with a deep v-neck (saucy!) a yellow short-sleeved cardigan and flat silver shoes.
Do you nap a lot?
Yes. I got into this habit when I lived in Italy, and now it's quite common for me to get home from work and nap for a couple of hours before dinner.
Who was the last person you hugged?
I can't remember! Either Holly or Elissa - possibly both ladies at once in a big group hug.
If you were a tree, what tree would you be?
I've always loved Norfolk pines - and I'm lucky, because I have one of my very own in my backyard!
What’s for dinner?
I don't know - you'll have to ask my housemate.
What was the last thing you bought?
A pair of earrings from Global Limits in Elgin St, and some mini pastries from Brunetti's.

What is your favourite weather?
I'm stealing Jesska's answer: "Summer for the beach, Autumn for the leaves, Winter for the knitting and Spring for the flowers. Yep, pretty much all of it."
What’s on your beside table?
I have no bedside table, but on the floor next to my bed are books, a pair of undies, my diary, a pen and a dirty cup.

If you could have a house totally paid for, fully furnished anywhere in the world, where would you want it to be?
A House In Virginia (Brendan Benson reference!!). Seriously, that's my dream house. Listen to the song and you'll understand.

An internet cafe in Nicholson St. Thankfully the noisy network gamers have left..
A book you're currently reading?
I Peed On Fellini, by David Stratton. I really enjoy watching him on TV, so I'm disappointed that his autobiography is not very interesting or well-written.
What would you like to have in your hands right now?
Hmmm. A new iPod Touch? Can I be so materialistic? I could be soppy and say the hand of a handsome man..
What is your favourite tea flavour?
Spicy chai, the kind with white pepper.
If you could go anywhere in the world for the next hour, where would you go?
I'd really like to go to LA and spend some time hanging out with my sister-in-law (am I allowed to call her that? I think I am!). Even just for an hour, that would be fantastic.
What did you want to become as a child?
Hello, I've spent the last six years at university with no end in sight yet. I STILL don't know.
If you could have any kind of bed, what would it look like?
I'd like a huge bed with a white-painted wrought iron frame. It'd have a huge squashy doona, and lots of pillows, and sheets that stay laundry-fresh ALL the time and which NEVER need washing. I hate having to cart my sheets to the laundromat and then back again.
